Where to buy Hoverboard Parts?
Is your hoverboard acting up? Maybe it's got a flashing red light. Maybe your wheels won't spin, or maybe you're hoverboard rides around on it's own like a maniac when your not even standing on it. There are a couple easy fixes which don't require any parts to fix such as calibrating a hoverboard or fixing an air pocket in a hoverboard.
Many other fixes however require you buy parts to fix your board. The most common part on a hoverboard to go bad seems to be either the gyroscopes, or sometimes the charging port, not because they go bad, but because people often trip over their board when charging, or jam in the plug the wrong way, so more user error. These parts typically cost about $15 for a replacement charging port and about $25 to $50 for a hoverboard gyroscope.
Some people are unlucky and get a scooter with a dud of a battery and those often require a battery replacement. I've seen batteries as low as say $50 on eBay, however I think for a quality battery you should expect to spend between $80 and $100 on a hoverboard battery.
The motherboards aren't that likely to go bad, though they do. Typically a bad motherboard is indicated by a flashing red or orange light on the power indicator lights on the middle of the board. A motherboard will typically run about $59, however you can often buy entire parts kits including motherboards, gyroscopes, and lights. This can often be had for about $80 and is probably the best bargain as it's always handy to have spare gyroscopes lying around.
